we are

Faith on Foot is a mobile Christian ministry based in Greenville, North Carolina. Our mission is to bring hope, love, and the Gospel directly into communities by walking alongside kids, families, and neighbors. We believe faith is lived where faith meets the streets, not confined to buildings. Our outreach includes fellowship, food, spiritual encouragement, and resource support, all delivered with care and compassion.

    Hi! I'm Avery Thomas, the heart behind Faith on Foot Ministries. Born and raised with a deep love for people and a passion for service, I felt called to create something that could meet others right where they are — with open hands and a faithful heart.

    After spending time volunteering with children’s ministries and local outreach programs, I realized that the walls of a church shouldn’t define where ministry begins. I wanted to bring faith to the streets: to kids, families, and neighborhoods that might otherwise feel overlooked. That desire became Faith on Foot.

    My goal is simple: to walk with hope, serve with love, and carry God’s grace to every corner of our community. I’m so excited to grow this ministry right here in Greenville, North Carolina. One step, one smile, and one life at a time.

  • Director of Operations

    Ayden Shidal serves as the Director of Operations for Faith on Foot Ministries, bringing a heart rooted in service and a passion for following the example of Jesus. From an early age, Ayden has been drawn to helping others—whether through volunteering at food drives, serving in soup kitchens, or lifting up the name of the Lord through voice and saxophone in worship.

    His desire to impact the next generation fuels his work with Faith on Foot. Ayden is especially passionate about guiding children and young people toward a future filled with purpose and faith, even when their path may feel uncertain.

    In his role as Director of Operations, Ayden helps lead the ministry’s day-to-day work—ensuring that every outreach effort runs smoothly and stays grounded in the mission to serve, love, and uplift others through Christ. His leadership is driven by a deep commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of those Faith on Foot reaches.
